11 NEWS 28.9.2023 MEDIRECT Bank has launched a re- ferral scheme offering existing clients a €50 bonus when successfully referring new customers to the bank. The scheme follows the recent suc- cessful launch of MeDirect's debit cards and gives customers the oppor- tunity to share their positive experi- ences while also benefitting. New clients who join the bank through this promotion will also be eli- gible to receive a €50 reward each. To benefit from this promotion, ex- isting clients need to login to online banking or the mobile app and obtain a unique code. This code can then be shared with friends and family who can use it when signing up to become new MeDirect customers. Rewards of €50 will be paid to exist- ing customers for every new client who signs up to MeDirect, up to a maxi- mum of three new customers. The rewards will be paid to both ex- isting and new clients, providing the new clients download and pair the MeDirect App to their accounts, or- der a physical or virtual debit card and make a minimum of five transactions amounting to at least €500, within two months. Speeches followed by Matthew Zerafa, CEO of the Housing Authority, and Marcel Cassar, CEO of APS Bank. Over the years and in collaboration with several government entities, APS Bank has introduced a portfolio of prod- ucts aimed at customers with challenges in the housing market. ese are Social Loan Scheme (2017, in partnership with the Foundation for Social Welfare Services - FSWS), Equity Sharing Scheme (2019) and Home De- posit Scheme (2020), which have collec- tively helped nearly 500 APS Bank cus- tomers to date.
