Hailing rock classics from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, noughties, and present day, ROCKWIRED will bring orchestral versions of hits by Bon Jovi, Coldplay, Aerosmith, Scorpions, Evanes- cence, Linkin Park, Muse, Me- tallica, The Beatles, Green Day, Queen, and so much more. Arthaus - in collaboration with The Palace String Or- chestra and supported by the Rock'n Malta Fund - will be performing this fantastic all live music fest on 4 and 5 No- vember, under the artistic di- rection of Stefania Grech Vella and the musical direction of Ryan Paul Abela who is also responsible for the orchestral arrangements. Choir arrangements have been set by Paul Abela, whilst the choir is being led by Claire McCartin. Hosted by award-winning actor Ste- phen Oliver, the concert will also feature some of Malta's top rock talent such as Chris Grech, Klinsmann, Neville Re- falo, Andre Portelli, Dion Far- rell, Dorothy Borg Bonnici, Rachel Grech and Stephanie Chetcuti, Natassja Chapman, and Jodi Zerafa Heckenlaible amongst many other incredibly talented singers. The production also has a few surprises in store for its audi- ence. Arthaus President Saman- tha Corrieri Dela expressed her excitement for the up- coming production, "We are thrilled to bring the Maltese public the second edition of ROCKWIRED! Arthaus' histo- ry is dotted with rock musicals and what were known as rock operas - so the genre is very much in our blood. There is a thirst for rock concerts on the island and hopefully this pro- duction can quench it. Our talented community of artists are working hard to bring you a feast for the eyes and ears!", ROCKWIRED plays at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, Malta on 4 and 5 No- vember 2023, with all perfor- mances at 7.30pm.
