Perrier unveils PERRIER®+STARCK®, an original collaboration with French creator Philippe Starck IN 1906, British-born St John Harmsworth, founder and owner of the PERRIER® brand, designed the shape of the now famous green bottle, drawing inspiration from the elegant and practical curves of Indian jug- gling clubs he used daily for exercise. From royal tables at Buckingham Palace to daring imagery developed by the brand, its legendary shape has changed very little over the years, elevating it to the status of an in- ternational icon. The PERRIER® bottle was first created and is still manufactured today in Vergèze, in the South of France, where the source is located. Philippe Starck is the first creator in- vited to revisit the iconic shape of the fa- mous green PERRIER® bottle. The PERRI- ER®+STARCK® design is the latest example of the brand's time-honoured tradition of collaborations with celebrated creative fig- ures. Throughout its 160-year history, PER- RIER® has worked with some of the world's most influential artists and creative figures, including Andy Warhol, Salvador Dalí, Ber- nard Villemot, Raymond Savignac, Jean Carlu, Jean-Gabriel Domergue and Takashi Murakami, each contributing their own unique artistic vision to revisit the French brand's image. The PERRIER®+STARCK® limited-edi- tion is available exclusively at Farsonsdirect, The Brewery, Mdina Road, Zone 2, Central Business District or online here: https://bit. ly/47rJpuS. PERRIER® is imported, marketed and dis- tributed by Farsons Beverage Imports Co (FBIC) Ltd, a member of the Farsons Group. BOV retrospective exhibition featuring works by Noel Galea bason officially inaugurated THE 28th Edition of the BOV Retro- spective Art Exhibitions series featuring works by contemporary artist Noel Galea Bason was officially inaugurated on the 16th January 2024 by H.E. Dr George Vella, President of Malta. The exhibi- tion is being hosted by Bank of Valletta at the Gran Salon within the Museum of Archaeology, Auberge de Provence in Valletta. Addressing the guests present at the ceremony, BOV Chairman Dr Gor- don Cordina said, "Noel might not be a household name, however his works are 'owned' by everyone on the Maltese islands as he has been designing Malta's coins for years. He has an impressive portfolio of special commemorative cre- ations as well as an innovative offshoot from traditional bas reliefs that deal with humanity's existential pain as well as the struggle between man and woman among others. The works on show in this exhibition reveal a definite break made by the artist from the formality of coin design." Noel Galea Bason's retrospective exhi- bition is being accompanied by a fully il- lustrated catalogue including a biograph- ical synopsis and reproductions in colour of all the exhibits on display. The Exhibition can be viewed every day from Monday to Sunday except on Tuesdays between 0900hrs and 1700hrs (last admission at 1630 hours) and will be open until Sunday 25th February 2024.
