10 NEWS 1.2.2024 THE Conrcept Stadium, a leading Creative Marketing Agency, is announcing its lat- est philanthropic endeavour in collaboration with the SiGMA Foundation's G.L.O.W (Give Little Ones Wings) Campaign. e Maltese agency is proudly contributing to the foundation's noble cause, focusing on aiding underprivileged children in Co- lombia affected by Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate. e G.L.O.W Campaign, an innovative initiative by the SiG- MA Foundation, aims to uplift disadvantaged children globally, addressing various challeng- es hindering their growth and development. e inaugural mission of this campaign is set to make a profound impact on the lives of children in Colom- bia, offering them hope and a brighter future. Jonathan Dalli, Founder and CEO of e Concept Stadium, expressed his dedication to the cause, stating, "Supporting chil- dren in Colombia with Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate resonates deeply with our company's phi- losophy; and is our our first CSR activity for 2024. Partnering with Premium Care Kids, the SiGMA Founda- tion is committed to executing this impactful initiative, with each operation costing approx- imately €800. e Concept Stadium's contribution demon- strates its unwavering commit- ment to philanthropy and soci- etal betterment. Highlighting the agency's on- going dedication to community initiatives, Dalli recalled recent efforts such as the Camino de Santiago Challenge in May 2022. is event raised €15,000 in support of the Jonathan Chetcuti Program, dedicated to building a school recreational grounds in Ethiopia. e agen- cy's involvement is a tribute to the memory of Jonathan Chet- cuti, Co-Founder, and Guardian Angel of e Concept Stadium. Moreover, in 2023, following Jonathan Dalli's second Cami- no de Santiago Challenge, both e Concept Stadium Agen- cy and e Jonathan Chetcu- ti Program made significant donations to Hospice Malta. ese contributions, totalling €16,000 and €6,000 respec- tively, were supported in the run-up to the finalisation of the St Michael Hospice pro- ject, enabling Hospice Malta to continue offering exceptional palliative care to the local com- munity, free of charge. The Concept Stadium extends support to SiGMA Foundation's G.L.O.W Campaign Jonathan Dalli, Founder and CEO of The Concept Stadium together with Keith Marshall, Chief Philanthropy Officer at SiGMA Foundation ON Thursday 25 January, 2024, the Gozo Tourism Association, organised the fourteenth edition of the Gozo Tourism Awards. ese Awards were bestowed to the Gozo Tourism Worker of the Year, the Gozo Young Tourism Worker of the Year, the Gozo Tourism Investment and Entrepreneurship Award and the Gozo Niche Tourism Achievement Award. The main objectives of these awards are to acknowledge, commend, en- courage and thank all the workers, En- trepreneurs and Entities who distin- guish themselves in the performance of their duties and activities in the vi- tal touristic industry in Gozo. Ronnie Spiteri, a taxi driver, won the Gozo Tourism Worker of the Year Award 2023, whilst the Gozo Young Tourism Worker of the Year Award 2023 was won by Francesco Xuereb, Operations Manager. This year's Gozo Tourism Entre- preneurship Award 2023 was won by Rebecca Bonnici of the BELS Lan- guage School, whilst the Gozo Niche Achievement Tourism Award was awarded to the Nadur Carnival organ- ised by the Nadur Local Council. The winners were officially an- nounced by Alfred Grech, LLD. MAG. Jur, Chairman of the adjudicating board which also included Naomi Macdonald, Joseph W Psaila, and Fa- bienne Etienne. Finally, the Gozo Tourism Associ- ation Council awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award in Tourism to the late Joseph Spiteri of Ta' Mena Es- tate for his investment and achieve- ments in the tourism sector along the years, which contributed towards job creation and economic growth on Gozo. The Special Recognition Award in Tourism awarded jointly to the Astra Theatre and Aurora Opera House, whilst the Gozo Tourism Commit- ment Award this year was awarded to the Malta Tourism Authority.
