MALITA Investments plc, an investment hold-
ing company registered by the Government of
Malta, has requested approval by the Malta Fi-
nancial Services Authority for an issue of rights
to eligible shareholders to subscribe to up to
65,825,806 new ordinary shares of a nominal
value of €0.50 per share in the company.

In December 2023, industrial output increased by 5.1 per cent when compared to December 2022. When
excluding energy, the index increased by 10.4 per cent. The monthly Index of Industrial Production (IIP) is a
business cycle indicator. It provides an early measure of change in the volume of industrial output produced by
domestic businesses in the manufacturing, energy, and quarrying sectors in Malta.
