A cinema and two theatres have been
included in a proposed cultural hub
that will replace plans for a carnival
village in Marsa's Albert Town.
The new development proposed
on the site of the former Govern-
ment Garage is set to occupy an ar-
ea the size of nearly three football
grounds.
The details emerge from a Project
Description Statement presented
by Festivals Malta for the site where
a carnival village was approved in
2016 but never built.

THE San Gaetano band club has been spared eviction
after government agreed to buy the property the club
was renting at €2.8 million.
