Malta Concert Orchestra July

BUILDING on the outstand-
ing June concerts by the Mal-
ta Concert Orchestra, Pjaz-
za Teatru Rjal 's orchestra in
residence returns with two
equally entertaining and ex-
citing events. On 12 July, the
Malta Concert Orchestra, un-
der the direction of Maestro
Joe Brown, performs A Night
at the Musicals. This concert
promises to be yet another
night of emotional music from
famous musicals such as Jesus
Christ Superstar, Les Miséra-
bles, The Lion King, Miss
Saigon, and The Phantom of
the Opera among others, in
the interpretation of Ludwig
Galea, Dorothy Bezzina, Law-
rence Gray, Tiziana Calleja,
and Neville Refalo.
On 26 July, in what promises
to be a memorable trip down
memory lane, the Malta Con-
cert Orchestra, directed by
Maestro Joe Brown, performs
the immortal cartoon theme
songs from the 80's and 90's
such as I Puffi, Kiss me Licia,
Il Grande Mazinga, and Tiger
Man amongst others. For this
Cartoni Animati concert, the
Malta Concert Orchestra will
be joined on stage by Ritienne
Azzopardi, Gloriana Arpa Bel-
li, and Roger Tirazona to help
the audience rekindle child-
hood memories.
