Architecture & Design | 21 R E V I V I N G T R A D I T I O N A L A R C H I T E C T U R E A rchitecture 360's clients were captivated by a corner townhouse near Fort St Angelo, located in one of Malta's oldest towns, Vittoriosa. Drawn to its traditional architecture, quiet surroundings, and rooftop views of Santa Scholastica's Monastery and Kalkara Marina, the clients approached Architecture 360 with the vision of transforming this historic property into their new home. Once part of a larger structure that had been divided and reduced, the house had suffered war damage, resulting in the destruction of many architectural features, including apertures and missing persjani shutters.
