The gardens were planted by and named after the British General Leslie Rundle around 1915 and have a large variety of local and imported trees such as ficus nitida and Canary Palms offering shade from the hot sun during summer. In the middle of Villa Rundle Gardens there is a fountain offering tranquillity and making it a great place to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing in Gozo. To the bird lovers' joy, the gardens also have a birdhouse with different colourful birds. Due to Villa Rundle Garden's perfect location in central Victoria, it is a perfect resting place for many shoppers and for people who just want sit back enjoy the green surroundings away from the hustle and bustle of the busy town. Did you know? 1. Fillet the seabass from the top, leaving the head and tail on. 2. Cut the main bone with scissors and pin-bone all the small bones. 3. Prepare the stuffing for the sea bass. Fry the onion, carrots and garlic in butter. Add the tomatoes, white wine and re- duce. Season with salt and pepper, add the basil and lemon juice. 4. Leave the mixture to cool down and stuff the seabass with it. Drizzle the fish with olive oil, salt and pepper. 5. Heat the oven to 180 Deg celcius and bake for 20 minutes. 6.
