Final deeds of sale by district and by locality In October 2024, the highest numbers of final deeds of sale were recorded in the Northern Harbour and the North- ern districts, with totals of 319 and 226 deeds, respectively. On the other hand, the lowest numbers were registered in the Western, and the Gozo and Comino districts, at 102 and 131 deeds, respectively. The highest numbers of final deeds of sale were recorded in the following lo- calities: San Pawl Il-Baħar (107), Birkir- kara (64) and Ħaż-Żabbar (53). The sum of agreements recorded in these localities corresponded to 20.0 per cent of the total final deeds of sale regis- tered during October 2024. During the same month, the number of properties transacted in the final deeds of sale was equivalent to 1,203. Apartments (417) and Garages (291) accounted for the largest shares, at 34.7 per cent and 24.2 per cent, respectively. Promise of sale agreements In October, 1,282 promise of sale agreements relating to residential prop- erty were registered, equivalent to an increase of 5.0 per cent over the same period in 2023. Individual potential buyers account- ed for 1,170 (or 91.3 per cent) of these agreements, while the rest mainly in- volved companies. The largest number of promise of sale agreements related to residential prop- erties were registered in the Northern Harbour district with 374 agreements, followed by the Northern district with 253 agreements. On the other hand, the lowest figures of promise of sale agreements were not- ed in the Western, and the Gozo and Comino districts, at 128 and 151 agree- ments, respectively. The highest numbers of promise of sale agreements were recorded in the follow- ing localities: San Pawl Il-Baħar (101), Birkirkara (64) and Il-Mosta (56). The sum of agreements recorded in these localities corresponded to 17.2 per cent of the total promise of sale agree- ments registered during October.
