8 maltatoday | WEDNESDAY • 18 DECEMBER 2024 NEWS MALTA Enterprise Chairman William Wait and CEO George Gregory presented a signifi- cant donation of €18,700 to the Children in Need Foundation, a charitable organisation which serves to support the education- al, physical, social, and mental needs of vulnerable children. The sum was collected from this year's successful CSR con- cert - Laudete Dominum – which Malta Enterprise have organised to mark the Corporation's 20th anniversary last October. The donation will go towards the setting up of a state of the art therapeutic space which will be equipped with child-friend- ly tools, sensory materials and comfortable furnishing, a vital necessity to help children feel at ease and safe but will also enhance their communication, play and emotional expression for the healing development of the children. Upon expressing his extreme gratitude for the donation, founder Daniel Abela said "We all want the very best for our children and this is the same philosophy we foster as a foun- dation. The facilities we are building are truly something special and Malta Enterprise's very generous donation will al- low us to finish them to the de- sired standard. Words will never be enough to show our gratitude and as a foundation we will re- main eternally grateful for your support." Malta Enterprise extended its gratitude to all artists, partners and employees who contributed to this success. Malta Enterprise donates €18,700 to the Children in Need Foundation MAPFRE joins forces with Mdina Glass and Is-Suq Tal-Belt to support Puttinu Cares MAPFRE has announced a collaboration with Mdina Glass and Is- Suq Tal-Belt to bring festive cheer and support to the community. Together, they have placed a magnificent Christmas tree in the heart of Valletta, designed to captivate and inspire passersby to con- tribute to a noble cause. The Christmas tree, adorned with exquisite glass ornaments handcrafted by Mdina Glass, stands as a bea- con of hope and generosity. Located at Is-Suq Tal-Belt, a bustling marketplace known for its vibrant atmosphere, the tree aims to draw the at- tention of shoppers and vis- itors, encouraging them to donate funds towards Puttinu Cares, a charitable organi- zation dedicated to children with cancer and individuals. "It is a pleasure and a priv- ilege to contribute towards such an important cause.
