These bags, which were made from recycled material by Mosta Girl Guides themselves with the help of some parents and other volunteers, consist of various items such as socks and gloves to keep warm, tea, lip balm, hot chocolate powder, cereal bars, as well as pencils and pencil colours, offer a warm hug to anyone who is going through a difficult time because of their health, so that they continue being strong and do not give up. This initiative compliments several other good deeds undertaken by the Mosta Girl Guides throughout 2024, during which they contributed towards society, in line with one of their mottos, 'Lend a Hand'.
