The Agency manages the Malta Government Network, supports information systems, leads eGovernment initiatives, and ensures cyber security. Through its eGovernment in- itiatives, it has made public services more accessible and user-friendly via online por- tals and mobile applications. Such efforts have placed Malta high on the EU's eGovernment Benchmarking reports, show- casing the country's leadership in digital public services. Operating within a nation- al ICT strategy, MITA pri- oritises national ICT targets and embraces open standards and technologies. The Agency builds and sustains excellent industry relations both locally and internationally, reflecting its strong legacy and mature organisational expertise.
