Buttigieg, Nadur. The police were alerted to the incident at around 11:30am and immediately respond- ed to the scene. Preliminary investigations revealed that the man sustained injuries while using a wood-cutting machine. A medical team was dispatched to provide assistance, and the victim was transported by ambulance to Gozo General Hospital. He was later certified to be suffering from gre- vious injuries. Authorities, including the Occupational Health and Safety Authority (OHSA), are conducting ongoing investigations to de- termine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
