2025 moves to
quarter finals
THE fifth round of the Gozo
Motocross Championship
2025, sponsored by Enemed,
took place at the Gozo Moto-
cross Track after a postpone-
ment due to inclement weath-
er, delivering a thrilling day
of competition for riders and
spectators alike.
Top honours were claimed by
Steve Xuereb in Class A, Jorn
Stellini in Class B, Redeemer
Vella in Class C and Isaac Borg
in the 85CC class, while Maria
Camilleri dominated the Wom-
en's Class and Trystn Theuma
secured the win in the Juniors
Class, with Craig Piscopo and
Joseph Jacob Attard securing
second and third.
The young riders displayed
remarkable skill and determi-
nation, hinting at a bright future
for Gozo's motocross scene..
The event was supported by
Bryden Antonelli, owner of Vil-
lage Core Bakery, who present-
ed trophies to the winners, high-
lighting the strong community
spirit driving the championship.
With the quarter-finals sched-
uled for 9 March 2025, fans can
look forward to further exciting
competition.
