The volunteers will be able to assist in the vari- ous projects under way at the Office, particularly the digitisation of the volumes at the Main Ar- chives. Through this volunteering initiative, the Office of the Notary to Government will contin- ue revamping its Main Archive by boosting its accessibility through web- based means. Above all, this digitisation initiative contributes to the better preservation of the volumes housed within the Main Archive, a number of which con- tain documents dating back to the 15th Century. Anyone wanting to be a part of this new expe- rience and meet up with other persons nurtur- ing a similar passion for documentary heritage, and are able to offer some of their valuable time - whether during the morning, the afternoon, or even the evening – this is the perfect opportunity. The call will close on 31 March and all those selected will be given the appropriate training required. All those interested may contact the Office of the Notary to Government through an email ad- dressed to notarial.archives@gov.mt or else by accessing the call for volunteers online through the website of the Office https://ntg.gov.mt/.
