The Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) is launching an online visitor booking system to regulate the number of peo- ple visiting the Natura 2000 site. Grow green BOV SME Supporting Your Vision CONTACT US THE National Book Council (NBC) has pro- posed launching discussions with the gov- ernment on the introduction of a basic in- come for writers, in a bid to address concerns about the financial sustainability of writing as a profession in Malta. The proposed income support for writers is one of many measures contemplated in the NBC's new five-year strategic vision which has been issued for public consulta- tion. The strategic document identifies the lack of full-time authors as a critical weak- ness in the country's small and struggling literary sector.
