Nadur Youngsters win BOV GFA Cup
NADUR Youngsters are the win-
ners of the BOV GFA Cup beating
Kercem Ajax 3-0 in the final.
Nadur started the game with great
intensity and took the early lead
just after 2 minutes through a goal
by Ian Xuereb. Nadur went into
the break with a 2-0 lead through
Brandon Said's strike in the 21st
minute. Gabriel Olimpio added
Nadur's third in the 55th minute to
seal the game with a 3-0 win for the
Youngsters
Charmaine Borg, manager of
Bank of Valletta's Gozo Branch and
Angelo Grech, Senior Vice Presi-
dent of the Gozo Football Associ-
ation presented the BOV GFA Cup
to Nadur's captain after the final
whistle. Celebrations erupted as
the team and supporters celebrated
another remarkable achievement
in their storied legacy.
