Borg, who is a rising star in the PN, told MaltaToday his focus now is to help the par- ty win the next election with Bernard Grech becoming prime minister. The water-borne disease is a potentially fatal bacterial in- fection often linked to poorly maintained air-conditioning and plumbing systems. The annual report of the In- fectious Disease Prevention and Control Unit (IDCU)'s shows that 30 cases were re- ported last year, up from 13 in 2023. Of these, 22 involved Maltese nationals.
