ITS showcases themed chocolate sculptures
and celebration cakes by culinary arts students
THE Institute of Tourism Stud-
ies (ITS) is showcasing the im-
pressive creations of its Bachelor
in Culinary Arts students, who
have once again demonstrated
exceptional artistic and pastry
skills through a collection of
themed chocolate sculptures
and decorated celebration cakes.
As part of the module Individ-
ual Pastry Practical and Theory,
the students undertook this cre-
ative challenge under the guid-
ance of ITS Pastry Chef Lecturer
Jimmy Aquilina. Over the course
of several lessons, 29 students
collaborated in groups of two or
three to plan and execute both a
chocolate sculpture and a cele-
bration cake, combining precise
techniques with artistic flair.
ITS takes great pride in the
remarkable achievements of
its Culinary Arts students and
looks forward to their continued
success in the field of culinary
arts.
Applications for ITS study pro-
grammes are open until 8th Au-
gust 2025. Prospective students
can explore the latest prospec-
tus at www.its.edu.mt/prospec-
tus, which provides detailed
information on the wide range
of programmes available—from
