He recalled that a few years ago the government had opened Dar il-Kantuniera to provide com- munity mental health services and that Blossom builds on that effort with school-based, free, and accessible counselling ser- vices. Minister Stefan Zrinzo Azzo- pardi noted that European funds are being used not only for in- frastructure but also to improve people's wellbeing. He said such projects represent investment in the country's future and are being supported through sever- al EU funding programmes, in- cluding the European Regional Development Fund, the Europe- an Social Fund, Erasmus+, and the European Solidarity Corps. Marie Louise Coleiro Preca, chairperson of The Malta Trust Foundation, said the partner- ship will help ensure that more Gozitan children and young people receive the support they need. She encouraged psycho- social professionals in Gozo to contribute to these services for students. Camilleri thanked The Malta Trust Foundation, education- al authorities, schools, and all professionals involved, as well as ministry staff who worked on the project. Beyond its therapeutic goals, Blossom will also promote pro- fessional collaboration and de- velopment through team-build- ing activities, conferences, and supervision sessions to ensure that support services remain consistent and of the highest standard. The event attracted over 280 participants and featured a 10km and 5km road run, chil- dren's races across four age categories, and a 5km fun walk, accommodating participants of all ages and abilities. As a non-governmental, non-profit organisation, the OASI Foundation provides therapy and rehabilitation ser- vices while promoting aware- ness, prevention, and healthier lifestyles within the community. The Cup Run & Fun Walk is one of the foundation's signature events, emphasising communi- ty engagement and well-being. The foundation thanked all participants, sponsors, staff, and volunteers for their support in making the 2025 event a suc- cess. The OASI Foundation also an- nounced its next event, Jump 4 Life, scheduled for 28 Decem- ber 2025 in Xlendi, featuring water activities and the tradi- tional New Year's jump into the sea.
