The newly finished streets are Triq Xagħman in Ta' Sannat and Triq Xandriku in Nadur. Camilleri said work on the 100-street project began imme- diately after discussions with local councils, which helped identify the streets most in need of upgrades. "Just days after the 2026 Budget was present- ed, measures for Gozo's streets began to be implemented," he noted. "Triq Xagħman in Ta' Sannat has been completely rebuilt. This street, lined with residen- tial properties, now benefits from a new tarmac surface and upgraded services. One street at a time, we are renewing the heart of our residential areas for the benefit of residents and visi- tors alike," Camilleri said. He added that on Triq Xan- driku, the Water Services Cor- poration replaced the mains and upgraded drainage services before the final layer of tarmac was laid. "We will continue working with various govern- ment agencies and local coun- cils not only to provide better services but also to improve the overall look of our residential areas," the minister said. The mayors of Nadur and Ta' Sannat thanked Minister Camilleri for the work, empha- sizing that the upgrades provide residents and visitors with safer streets that reflect the quality expected in Gozo's communi- ties.
