Charity car boot sale set for Sunday
in Victoria to support FSEG
A fundraising car boot sale in aid
of the Friends of the Sick and the
Elderly in Gozo (FSEG) is sched-
uled to take place next Sunday at
the football ground adjacent to
the main car park in Victoria.
The event will run from
7.30am until around midday,
providing an opportunity for
the public to buy and sell sec-
ond-hand goods in support of
the organisation's work.
Local charity sales such as
this are held regularly to raise
funds for FSEG's activities as-
sisting vulnerable members of
the community, with partici-
pants typically encouraged to
bring unwanted items to sell
and shoppers invited to look
for bargains.
Sellers generally set up stalls
on the day of the event, and
buyers attend early to browse
through a variety of items on
offer.
The car boot sale is one of
several fundraising initiatives
undertaken in support of the
organisation's mission in Gozo.
