2 maltatoday | SUNDAY • 14 JUNE 2026 NEWS In Malta's competitive real estate market, the difference between securing an opportu- nity and missing it often comes down to one thing: access to fast, flexible and reliable financ- ing. For developers and inves- tors, the challenge is not just funding a project. It is finding a banking partner who under- stands the urgency, the com- plexity, and the ambition be- hind every deal. At FCM Bank, we specialise in doing exactly that. We provide tailored financing solutions for real estate pro- jects across Malta, supporting clients at every stage, from ac- quisition and development to portfolio expansion. Whether you are launching a new res- idential project, investing in commercial property, or scal- ing your real estate strategy, our focus is simple: helping you move forward, quickly and with confidence. Speed matters. In today's market, opportunities are time-sensitive. Our streamlined credit approach and experi- enced lending team enable us to assess projects efficiently and respond quickly, so you can act when it matters most. Flexibility is key. No two projects are the same, and rigid financing structures can hold you back. At FCM Bank, we design solutions around your needs, adapting to your time- line, your cash flow, and your long-term investment strategy. As your project evolves, your fi- nancing can evolve with it. Access makes the differ- ence. When financing a real es- tate project, clarity and respon- siveness are essential. That is why you will have direct access to decision-makers who un- derstand your project and can provide clear, timely feedback without unnecessary delays. But what truly sets us apart is our partnership approach. We do not simply finance pro- jects. We work alongside our clients throughout the entire lifecycle. From initial structur- ing to final delivery, we stay engaged, helping you navigate challenges, adjust to market changes, and maximise the val- ue of your investment. Our lending team brings deep knowledge of Malta's real es- tate environment, combined with strong financial expertise. This allows us not only to fund projects, but also to provide practical, market-informed in- sight that supports better deci- sion-making. FCM Bank has already sup- ported a wide range of real estate developments across Malta, from residential to com- mercial projects. Our growing portfolio reflects one key prin- ciple: clients come back when they have a partner they can rely on. If you are planning your next project or looking to refinance or expand your portfolio this is the right moment to explore how we can support you. Let's turn your next real es- tate opportunity into reality. Get in touch with FCM Bank today and speak directly with our lending specialists to dis- cuss how we can structure fi- nancing that works for you. FCM Bank Ltd is regulated by the MFSA and is licensed to car- ry out the business of banking in terms of the Banking Act (Cap. 371 of the Laws of Malta). And yet, Malta lacks the institu- tions needed to monitor a slowly crumbling coastline, Peter Gatt said. The president of the Malta Chamber of Geologists said the closure of the Delimara bathing spot only after photographs ap- peared in the media was "entirely unacceptable for a modern Euro- pean nation". "Must the government wait for a major tragedy before establishing a National Geological Service?" he asked. Access to a section of St Peter's Pool was sealed off by the Public Works Department on Thursday, after MaltaToday published pho- tographs showing a deep crack running the full height of the cliff face. The photos taken by regular visitors to the area showed the dangerously perched cliff face hanging above a stretch of rock used by swimmers and sunbath- ers.
