The Ceramic Art Collective Ex- hibition 2026 will be held at the Sacred Heart Minor Seminary, Victoria, Gozo, from 24th July to 3rd August 2026. The exhibition will present a diverse collection of ceramic artworks and sculp- tures, showcasing both tradition- al craftsmanship and contempo- rary artistic expression. A special highlight of this year's exhibition is the Young Artists' Corner, a dedicated space featuring works by talented students and emerg- ing ceramic artists. By exhibiting alongside established ceramists, these young artists are given the opportunity to share their cre- ativity with the public and take their first steps into the local art scene. The exhibition will be offi- cially inaugurated on Friday, 24th July, by the Hon. Clint Camilleri, Minister for Gozo. The celebrations continue on Saturday, 1st August, when the 13th Gozo Ceramics Festi- val transforms Xlendi Bay into a vibrant open-air celebration of ceramics from 6:30pm until 11:00pm. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet ceramic artists, watch live demonstra- tions, enjoy Raku firing, explore a variety of handmade ceram- ic works, and purchase unique pieces directly from the makers. The festival will also feature free hands-on activities for children, traditional music and dance, street entertainment, and artistic installations, creating an enjoy- able evening for families, locals, and tourists alike. Set against the spectacular backdrop of Xlendi Bay, the fes- tival has become one of Gozo's most anticipated cultural events, celebrating artistic excellence while promoting ceramic art to a wide audience.
