deputy leader. I will not endorse anyone
to the detriment of someone else. I
have just been given a fresh mandate by
councillors and the worst thing I can do is
handpick the deputy leader and disregard
councillors… there are several MPs who
have the qualities.
Is there interest in the role?
There is. They want to feel part of the
leadership that will lead us to electoral
victory…
The current deputy leader,
Alex Perici Calascione, and
Secretary-general Charles
Bonello, were part of the
leadership team with you.
Should they resign from their
roles?
They were elected by party councillors
and once their term expires it will be up
to councillors to decide…
