My essentials KRISTA ŠUJAK Singer-songwriter I have been singing since the age of five, playing the piano since I was seven. I started song writing at around 12, and since then I have released songs which I wrote and produced in my own home studio. Music is a way for me to express myself. 1. Book 2. Film 3. Internet 4. Music 5. Place LAST August, I had the op- portunity to go to Adele's concert in Munich. She is my idol, both music wise and personally. I admire her hon- esty and talent, and I hope that one day I can follow in her footsteps. MY favourite country is Croatia. I can't choose a specific place; I love the beaches because they are just beautiful, the sea is so clear, and the weather is so nice. But then I also love the rural side, full of forests, be- cause it is something that we can't see in Malta. Since I am half Croatian, I visit Croatia a lot to see my fam- ily. I think that Croatia is a place that everyone should visit at least once in their life. THE books that I read are education related. However, whilst doing research for a school project, I read an article about brain develop- ment. A recent film I watched was Us. It's a psychological thrill- er and a horror movie at the same time. It will forever be one of those movies that will keep on playing in my head. Not only does it have an amazing story, but the plot twist at the end is one that you can't forget. Throughout the whole movie I was at the edge of my seat, and it is the type of movie that triggers a discussion after watching it. I don't watch TV that much; however, I do use the internet quite a lot. I use it for many things, such as chatting with my friends as well as to look stuff up.
