Malta Tourism Authority joins the World Travel & Tourism Council as a destination partner THE Malta Tourism Authority has joined the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) as a Destination Partner, strength- ening Malta's engagement with the global travel and tourism industry ahead of the WTTC Global Summit 2026. The partnership comes as Mal- ta prepares to welcome some of the world's leading tourism industry figures to the Maltese Islands for the WTTC Global Summit, which will take place in Valletta from 7–9 October 2026. Through its role as regulator, industry partner and destination promoter, the MTA works to strengthen the quality of Malta's tourism offering, support the industry and ensure the Islands remain competitive in interna- tional markets. This includes developing Malta's tourism proposition across different sectors and experiences, whilst strengthening the destination's profile as a high-quality, sus- tainable and diverse destination for visitors throughout the year.
