7 maltatoday | SUNDAY • 13 SEPTEMBER 2026 COMMERCIAL Epic raises the bar again with 3000Mbps home fibre internet, always Malta's best value MALTA'S fastest network just got faster. Malta's fastest network just got faster. Epic launches its fastest Home Fibre Internet yet for res- idential customers, 3000 Mbps available from today for €45.99 per month, guaranteed for two years. No hidden fees. No bill shock. Just Malta's best speed at Malta's best price, locked in. The upgrade, a step up from Epic's previous 2000Mbps tier, arrives in a market where high- er speeds command significantly higher prices. The maths makes that case better than any slogan could. Delivering the best possi- ble quality, whether on mobile or at home, is something Epic has consistently been recognised for. For the third consecutive period, Ookla ranked Epic the number one fastest mobile network in Malta, an independently meas- ured, customer-experienced re- sult that reflects a provider-wide commitment to performance. Some people collect stamps. Ep- ic collects Ookla awards. That same commitment extends to Home Fibre Internet. Epic has built its reputation as Malta's challenger provider by disrupting the market on price. For Epic's CEO Pierre Etienne Cizeron, today's announcement is a continuation of that commit- ment. "The challenger doesn't win by doing what the incum- bents do at a higher price. We win by giving Maltese house- holds more, more speed, more value, more freedom. This is ex- actly what we set out to do," he said. Customers switching to Epic can take advantage of Epic's 30- day risk-free trial, making the move with ease and confidence. Combine with Epic's Unlimited mobile plan and save a further €5 per month on every mobile line. Epic's 3000MbpsHome Fibre Internet is available from 1 July 2026. To change plan upon con- tract renewal, they will be able to choose from all the existing plans available. New customers can sign up at epic.com.mt or visit any of Epic's 15 stores and outlets across Malta and Gozo. HSBC Malta Foundation extends partnership with FES to expand after-school wellbeing activities AS a new scholastic year ap- proaches, bringing with it a new chapter of the Klabb 3 - 16 ser- vice, the HSBC Malta Founda- tion is once again sponsoring the initiative Enhancing Children's Well-being through After-School Programmes, delivered by the Foundation for Educational Services (FES). Building on the achievements of the previous scholastic year, the Foundation's continued support will fur- ther enrich the experiences and wellbeing of children attending Klabb 3 - 16. With preparations underway for the 2026/2027 scholastic year, this renewed sponsorship also provides an opportunity to reflect on the impact made possible through HSBC Malta Foundation's support during the 2025/2026 scholastic year. The initiative offers educational experiences supporting children beyond the classroom and which extend beyond the academic cur- riculum. Delivered across Klabb 3 - 16 centres in Malta's southern and central regions, the sessions focused on fostering self-expres- sion, creativity, mindfulness, and healthy living among children aged seven and above. The programmes included: • Mindfulness for Children, helping participants strengthen emotional regulation, concentra- tion, and mental wellbeing; • Creative Movement and Dance, encouraging self-expres- sion, confidence, and physical health through artistic move- ment. Each programme ran over two academic terms and was deliv- ered by warranted practitioners in a safe, inclusive environment. The sessions were offered free of charge to ensure equal access for all children, irrespective of so- cio-economic background. Glenn Bugeja, Head of Corpo- rate Sustainability at HSBC Mal- ta said: "This is such a meaning- ful initiative because it supports children's well-being in a holistic way, nurturing both their person- al and creative development. It's wonderful to see the Foundation for Educational Services contin- uing to deliver these impactful programmes, and we are proud to stand behind their work for another year." Therese Ellul, representing the Foundation for Educational Ser- vices, expressed her apprecia- tion, saying "HSBC Malta Foun- dation's continued support has enabled us to expand the reach of our after-school well-being initiatives, ensuring that more children have access to creative, educational, and emotionally enriching experiences. This col- laboration allows us to invest in Malta's future by helping chil- dren develop skills that last a life- time." The Foundation for Education- al Services operates a range of community-based initiatives that promote learning, inclusion, and social development. Through this renewed partnership, the HSBC Malta Foundation continues its long-standing commitment to supporting education, sustaina- bility, and community wellbeing across Malta.
