inov8 expands its consumer technology portfolio with the Malta launch of TDM.Neo MALTA'S consumer technology market is set to welcome a new audio brand as inov8 prepares to introduce TDM. Neo to the local market. The launch forms part of inov8's con- tinued focus on identifying technology products that combine a clear point of difference with practical consumer benefits and relevance across multiple retail audiences. TDM.Neo is an over-ear headphone that transforms into a portable speaker with one twist, allowing users to move from private listening to shared sound without changing devices. TDM. calls the concept Solo to Social, one moment the music is yours, the next it becomes everyone's. For inov8, it is precisely that simplicity that makes the product an interesting addition to Malta's consumer electron- ics market. More than the 2-in-1 concept While Neo's transformation provides an immediately recognisable point of difference, its wider feature set gives inov8 and its retail partners a broader product story to communicate. According to TDM.'s product speci- fications, Neo delivers 200+ hours of listening in headphone mode and 16+ hours in speaker mode. And when you do need to top it up, USB-C fast charging can deliver up to eight hours of headphone listen- ing from just five minutes of charg- ing. The product also incorporates a re- placeable battery module, extending the proposition beyond battery life alone, while local location tracking through the app provides an addi- tional practical feature for a device de- signed to move with its user. Together, these features help position TDM.Neo as more than a novelty based around its transformation mechanism. Its proposition combines two audio modes with battery performance, fast charging, portability and connected functionality in one product. Battery and charging figures are manu- facturer claims. Actual performance var- ies depending on volume, mode and use. A product designed for more than one audience Unlike products built around a single use case, TDM.Neo is designed around the way people move between differ- ent environments throughout the day. That gives the product relevance across younger music-led consumers, creatives, social groups and travellers. For retailers, this opens several pur- chasing occasions: personal audio, travel, lifestyle technology, gifting and portable sound. It also gives sales teams an immedi- ately understandable demonstration. Consumers can see the transition from headphones to speaker mode rather than relying solely on technical speci- fications to understand what differen- tiates the product. Supporting the product beyond the shelf inov8's local introduction of TDM.Neo will be backed by a wider marketing campaign rather than relying solely on retail presence. The launch strategy includes paid so- cial media, Google Search, Display and YouTube advertising, creator partner- ships across technology, lifestyle and gaming audiences, digital PR and ex- periential activity. Retail partners will also form part of the communications strategy, with in- ov8 planning to direct interested con- sumers towards participating outlets as local availability is confirmed. The objective is to build recognition of both the TDM.Neo name and its distinctive product proposition be- fore and during its arrival at retail. For a new entrant to the Maltese mar- ket, that means developing consumer awareness while simultaneously giv- ing retail partners marketing support around the launch. Bringing differentiated technology to Malta TDM. itself is built around the idea that technology should support the people, places and moments hap- pening around us rather than pull users away from them. Neo is the first product expression of that philosophy. For inov8, however, there is also a clear commercial proposition: a product with an immediately de- monstrable point of difference, tan- gible supporting features, relevance across several consumer profiles and a coordinated local marketing cam- paign behind its introduction. TDM.Neo will be available in Mal- ta through selected retail part- ners, with availability and further launch details to be announced shortly. maltatoday | SUNDAY • 8 NOVEMBER 2026 THIS IS A PAID COLLABORATION
