The community of Birkirkara is now on course to improve its environmental credentials by teaming up with GreenPak, the MEPA authorised scheme operated by GreenPak Coop Society. With a potential to recover 44 tonnes of recyclable waste per week, currently Birkirkara is recovering only 14.2 tonnes per week.
