Thoughts on Ideas Toward a Unified Whole One-day photography exhibition by Jon Banthrope at the Architecture Project Offices, 4, Sappers Street, Valletta. The exhibition is organised by Fragmenta, a new art collective that seeks to set up 'pop- up' exhibitions on a small budget and in quirky, unusual locations. "The exhibition tries to be daring: using a bespoke space, with cheap materials and ephemeral presentation. Fragmenta tries to show that you can do something with very little means if you have the right energy and idea," the organiser of the Fragmenta exhibits said. The exhibition will be open from noon until 18:00. Voce della Vita Concert by Maltese tenor and conductor Brian Cefai at the Xara Lodge, Mdina at 19:30. The concert will also feature soprano Andriana Yordanova, Mezzo Soprano Francesca Bartolo, Baritone Joseph Lia & orchestra under the direction of Mro. Michelle Castelletti. Featuring the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra led by Marcelline Laus and conducted by Joseph Sammut. Entrance is free. NOVEMBER 30 Gaela Brown in concert Concert by the Paris-based singer-songwriter Gaela Brown at The Orpheum Theatre, Gzira from 20:00. With support from local bands Stalko and The New Victorians. NOVEMBER 30, DECEMBER 1 Thoughts on Ideas Toward a Unified Whole will be on today MUSIC & NIGHTLIFE NOVEMBER 26 Lunchtime Concerts at the Oratory of St Francis Classical guitarist Bernard Catania performing at St Francis Oratory, Republic Street, Valletta at 12:30. He will be performing some great solo guitar music, a wide-ranging repertoire that covers the Baroque, Spanish, Latin-American and the Contemporary Classical Guitar repertoire. He will be performing works by Isaac Albeniz, Francisco Tarrega, Enrique Granados, Heitor Villa- Lobos and traditional Spanish music, amongst others. NOVEMBER 27 Homesongs: Furbies and #Gozowerkteam Night of kitsch music and kitsch style at Coach and Horses, Valley Road, Msida – organised by Luke Azzopardi. Doors open at 20:00. NOVEMBER 29 Laura Sarti – Recital by masterclass participants Recital performed by Laura Sarti masterclass participants (held 25-27 November) and will be based on the work done during the course.
