Birkirkara were declared BOV Premier League Champions for the fourth time on
May 11, 2013. Birkirkara came back from one goal down to defeat Hibernians 3-1
in a Championship Decider as both teams finished level on points.
Birkirkara also went on to lift the BOV super Cup for the sixth time after they
defeated U*BET FA Trophy winners Hibernians 3-2.
