TBWA\ANG have been appointed creative strategic agency partners for this year's Business Leaders Malta (BLM) Conference, Growth+. The conference will be held on the February 28 at the Radisson Golden Sands Resort. This year's theme, Growth+, has been creatively supported by TBWA\ANG, and revolves around a pharmaceutical concept with the tag line "Essential vitamins to boost your business" appearing through- out the campaign. Additionally, the Agency has conceptually cre- ated this year's bespoke invite and has been appointed to support all traditional and online advertising campaigns, as well as BLM website's redesign. BLM Conferences are known to be unique, and their invites are no different. This year's invitation came in the form of a pill box with humorously instructional pamphlet inside. According to Ivan Filletti, CEO, TBWA\ANG, "We are a strategic creative agency that challenges briefs and helps clients craft better consumer propositions with fantas- tic creative solutions. We pride our- selves on being business partners rather than advertising suppliers." Growth+ will focus on both or- ganisational and personal growth in order to offer business leaders food for thought on maximising po- tential. A rich programme featuring keynote speakers and panel discus- sions will tackle innovation, merg- ers and acquisitions, internationali- sation and personal growth. "Business Leaders Malta is made up of a team of creative and in- novative individuals. Such a team is complemented by TBWA\ANG who constantly support our ini- tiatives thus creating an excellent partnership in pursuing disruptive marketing campaigns," highlighted Morgan Parnis Managing Director Business Leaders Malta. One month into the new year, and Frank Salt Real Estate has already been actively waiving the Maltese flag in various countries, promot- ing the island's allure for foreign na- tionals looking at taking up a prop- erty in Malta. Together with leading company Architecture Projects and EMD Advisory, the company has organised a Malta Day in Paris, with an overwhelming response in terms of interest and attendance. This was followed by a similar seminar in Warsaw in collaboration with Malta's Ambassador in Poland, and participation in a major interna- tional property show in Stockholm, Sweden, and a number of activities targeting the British and Russian markets. More roadshows and semi- nars are expected to follow in the coming months. Over the last few months, Malta and its property market have record- ed a remarkable increase in interest from foreign nationals, who are ey- ing Malta not only as a holiday home destination, but also as a secure and lucrative rental investment, as well as a residency and relocation option. The introduction of the Global Resi- dence Programme in 2013, and the advent of the Individual Investment Programme is expected to augment the latter interest, and Frank Salt Real Estate is fully geared to assist foreign clients looking at purchasing or renting a property in Malta. Following the seminar in Warsaw, the ambassador of Malta Mr Pierre Clive Agius, congratulated Frank Salt Real Estate (along with the other stake holders) for investing in the Polish market, a market which he described as full of potential and fast emerging as an important One in Europe. In his presentation, the ambassador differentiated between other European jurisdictions and Malta. He said that Malta is proud to be one of the very few places which was never put on any grey or black lists including the OECD , the ultimate standard in financial regu- lations which actually used Malta as an example for other jurisdictions. Ambassador Agius also explained the sound financial situation of Mal- ta in comparison to other European countries. "We believe greatly in the potential of the foreign buyer and investor," said Joseph Lupi, Managing Direc- tor for Frank Salt Real Estate. "With a total attendance of 7,000 visitors at the Stockholm exhibi- tion and circa 200 persons at the various seminars across Europe, this confirms that Malta's appeal is very positive. And with many European economies recovering from the in- ternational recession, they are now eager to broaden their horizons." For more information about the Maltese islands and the property market one may call on 23 794794 or by email at fs@franksalt.com.mt Following the local success of the outreach project, through which children in local schools are given a presentation about Malta's un- derwater cultural heritage, the Programme has now been exported abroad. Over 100 students and teachers from various schools across Sydney, Australia were introduced to the incredible underwater world sur- rounding our small archipelago in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. Dr Tim Gambin of the Univer- sity of Malta delivered the lecture about Malta's underwater cultural heritage at the National Maritime Museum in Sydney. It is widely acknowledged that our islands are full of priceless gems that bear testimony to our rich and turbulent history. However, it is not often that we are exposed to the maritime heritage that lies on the seabed surrounding our shores. Speaking on his return from Aus- tralia, Dr Gambin expressed his excitement at the warm reception he received. "It really makes it all worthwhile to watch the wonder on children's faces as they are intro- duced to this world. This project is bringing to the surface completely new evidence about our rich past. It is laborious work, but the outcome is priceless." Through this Programme, Dr Gambin visits school children and enthralls them with stories about Malta's rich maritime past. Since it was established by a local NGO – the Mediterranean Institute of Ma- rine Studies in 2007, over 9,000 lo- cal school children benefited from this initiative. This project already has a track record covering an aver- age of 2,000 students in 25 schools every year for the past three years. The sessions started in October and will continue until May 2014. For further information, one may contact the MIMS Coordinator Maria Baldacchino on mariabald- acchino@live.com. This is another exciting project which is brought to light thanks to the support offered by Bank of Val- letta's extensive Community Rela- tions Programme. "This project ad- dresses two important pillars of our Programme – education and herit- age, in a manner that adds value to both. This is why we are excited to see this Programme reaching out to more and more children," said Ken- neth B Micallef, Head CEO Office at Bank of Valletta. Dr Gambin's presentations are also supported by the Department of Classics and Archaeology at the University of Malta
