maltatoday, WEDNESDAY, 19 MARCH 2014 18 EMIRATES, a global connector of people and places, will serve Malta with a second daily flight from 1 August 2014. This news follows the pre-entry visa exemption applicable to Maltese citizens visiting UAE from 22 March 2014. Emirates' A330-200 aircraft will be flying on a daily scheduled flight be- tween Dubai and Malta via Larnaka, Cyprus, and on a second daily sched- uled non-stop flight on A340-500 from Dubai to Malta, with the return trip flying via Tripoli. Altogether, the two aircraft will add a capacity of 917 seats a week in each direction and an additional 90 tonnes of cargo capacity per week in each direction. Maltese travelers will be able to en- joy once again daily access to Larna- ka, Cyprus, which currently is operat- ing on a four times weekly basis. Due to the growing demand by travelers from Tripoli, a second daily service will also commence from 2 August 2014, less than a year after the re- introduction of the Tripoli route via Malta last September. Paul Fleri Soler, Malta Manager, said: "Emirates' decision to re-in- troduce a daily service to Malta via Larnaka is a direct result of a surge in customer demand. The enhanced schedule will offer better connec- tivity for our business and leisure customers when travelling between Malta and Dubai, and onwards east- ward to the rest of our network in the Indian subcontinent, Africa, Far East and Australasia. "At the same time, this is going to add connectivity to Cyprus which should prove to be a great attraction for a summer holiday with family or with friends considering that it's only two hours away." The airline's Airbus 330-200 air- craft will feature 237 seats in a three- class configuration. Flight EK107 will leave Dubai at 0820hrs to arrive in Malta at 1410hrs via Larnaka. The return flight EK108 will depart Malta at 1545hrs, and will arrive in Larnaka at 1910hrs, departing an hour later to arrive in Dubai at 0110hrs the next day. The second service will be oper- ating by an Airbus 340-500 also in three-class configuration. EK745 on the Dubai-Malta-Tripoli-Dubai route will leave Dubai at 0930hrs, arriving in Malta at 1305hrs. Leaving Malta at 1455hrs, it reaches Tripoli at 1555hrs, departing Tripoli at 1724hrs to arrive in Dubai at 0100hrs the next day. Events Tom Oliver Nutrition launches 'Super Supplement' with the Omega 3 MOPL Herring Caviar TOM Oliver Nutrition announces the launch of the Omega 3 MOPL™ Herring Caviar, to Malta. Bringing next generation innovation to the health supplement market. Breaking new ground, the product is sustain- ably sourced, with better absorption and utilization and less unpleasant side effects than most other Omega 3 products found on the market to- day. This superior fish oil food supple- ment is the first of its kind, offering a unique nutritional profile of DHA and EPA Omega 3 Phospholipids, and the important nutrient Choline. It is environmentally friendly and offers outstanding health benefits. The supplement has been developed in collaboration with the best in field expert, Prof. Dr. Alvin Berger whose recent scientific develop- ments in fish oil research have been harnessed by Tom Oliver Nutrition to create this outstanding new prod- uct, which is tipped as the global su- per supplement. The Omega 3 MOPL™ Herring Caviar contains both Omega 3s, DHA and EPA: conditionally essen- tial fatty acids that support healthy skin, joint health, brain function, good vision, weight management and a healthy heart. The Omega 3 MOPL™ Herring Caviar contains 300mg/g of DHA, an important fat- ty acid in supporting healthy brain function. Accelerated absorption and accel- erated utilisation The outstanding benefits of the Omega 3 MOPL™ Herring Caviar are not limited to these essential fatty acids. This premium marine bio-active oil sourced from Herring caviar is a rich source of phospholi- pids which help the accelerated ab- sorption of fatty acids and choline into the body. Phospholipids are the key building blocks of our cell mem- branes; they create new cell mem- branes and also maintain the proper functions of our existing cells. Cell membranes are made of Omega 3 phospholipids and other molecules, and therefore Omega 3 MOPL™ Her- ring Caviar provides a rich source of Omega 3s essential to include in our daily diets. The supplement also contains Choline from marine lecithin, which helps support a normal lipid metab- olism and maintenance of normal liver function, thus providing the weight loss effect in addition to the wide ranging health benefits, mak- ing it a truly unique product. Rosso del Conte, which is the f lagship of the Tasca range, was awarded 91 points out of 100 for its 2008 vintage. The Rosso del Conte 2008 was recently awarded the coveted Cinque Grappoli in the Bibenda reviews of the Italian Sommelier's Association. The 2010 vintage of Cygnus, a Nero d 'Avola and Cabernet Sauvi- gnon blend, was also highly rated, achieving 90 points. This wine was awarded the highest rank- ing of Tre Bicchieri in the 2013 edition of Gambero Rosso, Italy's wine reference guide.
