Birkirkara enjoyed total control of the match from the start. On the 27th minute, Birkirkara managed to take the lead. When a cross by Edward Herrera was partial- ly saved by goalkeeper Daniel Balzan, Jhonnattan benites da Conceicao scored from close range. Birkirkara doubled the score on the 61st minute. Off a freekick by Jhon- nattann, Zach Muscat's header left no chance for goalkeeper Daniel Bal- zan to make the score 2-0. Birkirkara had total control of the match and on the 74th minute they would have a three goal lead. Ed- ward Herrera's powerful shot hit the woodwork before entering the net leaving no chance for the Hibernians goalkeeper. Birkirkara made sure they sealed victory when they made it 4-0 on the 82nd minute. Ryan Scicluna served Jhonnattan Benites da Conceicao who then dribbled past goalkeeper Daniel Balzan to then score into an empty net. Hibernians managed to score a consolation goal on the 87th minute. Off a cross by Clayton Failla, Jackson di Lima Siqueira left no chance for goalkeeper Justin Haber to make the final score 4-1. Tarxien managed to take the lead after only eight minutes of play when they were awarded a penalty. David Azzopardi brought William Barbosa down inside the area to have the ref- eree immediately point to the pen- alty spot. Demba Toure easily beat goal- keeper Jonathan Azzopardi from the penalty spot. Tarxien doubled their lead on the 16th minute. Jorge Santos Silva made his way into Rabat's box to easily beat goalkeeper Jonathan Azzopardi with his shot. On the 22nd minute, Taxien made it 3-0. Jorge Santos Silva placed a per- fect cross into the area to have Steve Bonnici score with a brilliant header. William Barbosa scored the fourth goal for Tarxien on the 28th minute when he unleashed a powerful shot that left no chance for Rabat's goal- keeper. Six minutes before the first half ended, William Barbosa served Demba Toure who then had his low shot beat Azzopardi to make the score 5-0. Tarxien were not satisfied and they made it 6-0 on the 42nd minute. Off a cross by Carlo Mamo, Karl Pulo beat Rabat's goalkeeper with his shot.
