The play was the winner of the Children's Category of the Premju Francis Ebejer in 2012. Cast includes Karen Decelis, Naomi Said, Philip Leone-Ganado and Joseph Zammit. FILM SCREENING MAY 14 Forgotten Bird of Paradise Film screening at Gugar Hangout and Bar, 89A, Republic Street, Valletta at 21:00. British filmmaker Dominic Brown travelled without the knowledge or authority of the Indonesian authorities in order to film Forgotten Bird of Paradise. The documentary provides a rare and moving insight onto the struggle for independence that has gripped West Papua for over 45 years. PUBLIC LECTURES MAY 12-14 Lectures by Anissa Daoudi Series of lectures by Anissa Daoudi at the University of Malta. Daoudi is is a lecturer in translation studies and Arabic at the University of Birmingham and head of the Arabic section of Languages for All.
