2 maltatoday, WEDNESDAY, 21 MAY 2014 What I will work for: Tel. no.: 2122 6845 email: info@mizzimarlene.com What I will work for: Immigration I will continue to insist that a dignified solution is found for I will continue to insist that a dignified solution is found for Malta as well as for the immigrants who arrive in Malta. I will insist on action rather than words and that the Dublin II Treaty is revised. Education I believe that education goes beyond reading and writing... and giving all Maltese and Gozitan children the opportunity to go abroad on programmes funded by the European Union will serve to stimulate the love of learning from a young age and help to develop their full potential. Employment I will continue working so that our young people will find a decent job in Malta or in another Member State. I will continue working to eradicate underpaid jobs, the exploitation of workers and to reduce unemployment. Animals I will also lobby so that EU restrictions controlling the establishment of a pet cemetery are overcome. I will also work so funds are specifically allocated for the care of animals and anything which relates to the welfare of our animal friends. www.mizzimarlene.com "It is the Labour Party and politics which need Marlene Mizzi; it is not Marlene Mizzi who needs the Labour Party and politics. In this last year Marlene has proved herself. I hope that the electorate appreciates this in the coming elections" - Prime Minister, Dr. Joseph Muscat "Marlene Mizzi has something which few politicians have - political finesse." - Dr. Toni Abela, Deputy Leader Labour Party "The slogan 'THERE FOR YOU' is the message that I want to send. It should be the raison d'être of a politician. The only purpose I entered into politics as precisely to be there for you, Citizen" - Marlene Mizzi, MEP
