Among the 25 en- tries is Robertissima the JV 72 which was among the first to en- ter after a first attempt last year. Other entrants of note are Balaeria a TP52 and Spirit a Swan 65 as well as Libertalia a VO60 and Monster Project a VO70. Some old regulars are back again too. Beppe Bisotto on Atame could not resist another go while Andy Middleton of Global Yacht Rac- ing has teamed up with Ross Ap- pelby to return with a different boat Scarlet Oyster, both Beppe and Andy having competed in this race many times before. Such is the lure of the Rolex Middle Sea Race that competitors feel compelled to return to compete in this exciting and memorable offshore race. The Notice of Race and en- tries may be download- ed from the event website: www.rolexmiddlesearace.com. Coulthard calls for two pit boxes per team DAVID Coulthard believes that For- mula 1 teams should be allowed to use two pit boxes in future seasons. The ex-Formula 1 driver has made the claim in the wake of the Monaco Grand Prix, during which a Safety Car period forced most teams to stack their drivers to avoid losing crucial time by completing another lap. It is a challenge that teams have faced for many years, but Coulthard reckons it can be easily solved. "This has fallen on deaf ears before, but I think we should have two pit boxes, because otherwise it neutral- ises the inter-team battle as it benefits the guy in front," said Coulthard in his latest column for The Telegraph. "If you want to see a true battle of man against man we should get away from this single stop."
