"Decisions about the Duchess of Cambridge's engagement are being taken on a case-by-case basis. For now the plan has not changed and, so far, she is coming," a spokesper- son for the British High Commis- sion said. According to state broadcaster TVM, Prince Harry, who on Mon- day hit 30, "will be replacing" the duchess. A government spokesman also denied the news, saying that there were no such plans as yet. Kate Middleton, who is pregnant with her second child, is suffering from severe morning sickness – a condition known as hyperemesis gravidum. The Duchess of Cambridge suf- fered the same symptoms when she was pregnant with Prince George and has now cancelled a series of engagements, including missing Prince Harry's launch events for New Zealand's Invictus Games. Two drivers hospitalised after heavy vehicle collision TWO drivers were injured in a collision involving a trailer and a truck carrying a heavy skip in Triq Sant' Andrija, limits of St Andrews, yesterday at around 10.20am. The GAF trailer, driven by a 37- year-old man from Birzebbugia, was going towards St Julians while the Leyland truck, driven by a 41- year-old man from Msida, was go- ing in the opposite direction. The collision happened when the two heavy vehicles arrived near the High Ridge exit. An ambulance took both drivers to Mater Dei Hospital for further treatment. The Msida man was certified to be suffering from slight injuries while the other is still being evalu- ated by the medical team but he is not in danger of loss of life. District police from the Swieqi police station are investigating. The road was closed to traffic for some time after the accident. Suspended sentence over passport forgery MAGISTRATE Consuelo Scerri Herrera yesterday handed a Ser- bian national a seven-month cus- todial sentence suspended for 18 months after he admitted forging an immigration stamp on his Ser- bian passport. Legal counsel Arthur Azzopardi entered an early guilty plea for 22-year-old Krstic Nenad as he ap- peared in the dock, charged with forgery and use of a forged public document.
