OCTOBER 17-19, 24-26 The Great Big Radio Show MADC production of the popular musical at the Manoel Theatre, Valletta at 20:00. The book and lyrics are by Philip Glassborow, with dance arrangements by David Rhind Tutt, and Geoffrey Thomas. Directed by Polly March. Cast includes Alan Montarnaro, Joseph Zammit, Katja Bruneis, Katherine Brown, Michael Mangion, Justin Mamo, Alex Gatesey Lewis, Luke Saydon, Nicola Azzopardi, Mariele Zammit and Andre Mangion. OCTOBER 14 Lunchtime Concerts: Vivaldi and More Lunchtime concert at the Oratory of St Francis, Republic Street, Valletta at 12:30. The Italian violinist Klara Nazaj and Hungarian-born Akos Kertesz (cello), will be performing music by Vivaldi, Handel and J.S.Bach. OCTOBER 18, 24 DIVINA Gozo-based ballet company Naupaca Dance Factory will be performing their interpretation of Dante's Divine Comedy at the Malta Mediterranean Conference Centre, Valletta. Featuring guest performers Francesco Mariottini (IT – 'Amici') and Sergey Kheylik (RU) dancing the role of Dante and Virgil respectively, with Naupaca's Deborah Agius as Beatrice. Starts at 19:30. Historic re-enactments, extended and cheaper museum entrances, and the opening up to the public of other venues of interest including churches, highlight the immense historic value of this city.
