Events 40 maltatoday, Sunday, 26 OctOber 2014 Citroën C1 Urban Ride voted on by visitors at the Paris Motor Show Citroën gave a voice to visitors at the Paris Motor Show, encourag- ing them to express their opinion on the Brand 's all-new concept car, the C1 Urban Ride. The idea is simple. Using a ter- minal located next to the vehi- cle, visitors voted Yes or No as to whether they would like the con- cept car to become a production model. Following the launch of the New Citroën C1 in June, the Brand is illustrating all the personalisa- tion potential of the cit y car with a strong, refreshing and uninhib- ited concept car drawing on SU V st yling components. In the words of Thomas d 'Haussy, C Citroën Product Director, "The C1 Urban Ride concept car is a st ylish and characterful proposal completely in tune with the times.We are im- patient to see whether the public appreciates the car through this all-new voting system." Those not attending the Paris Motor Show are able to express their opinion on Citroën's social media sites. HSBC sponsors the President's Bike Ride HSBC Malta Foundation is sponsor- ing the President's Bike Ride 2014 being held this Sunday, 26 Octo- ber, in aid of the Community Chest Fund. The national event will witness the participation of both bicycle and motorbike enthusiasts who will use their two-wheelers for a noble cause. Participation is open to everyone 16 years and older with a donation of €10. HSBC Malta Foundation direc- tor Josef Camilleri said: "People and partnerships are at the heart of everything HSBC Malta Foun- dation does in its role as an enabler in Malta's social development. Our partnership with the Office of the President for the Bike Ride 2014 is part of our sustained effort to ac- tively support a variety of commu- nity needs." The bicycles will leave San Anton Palace at 9.30am and drive to Vallet- ta - Castille Square and back to Ta' Qali. The bikers will have a different route leaving San Anton Palace at 10am where they will ride through villages in the south of Malta and finish at Ta Qali. A BMX show will be held at Ta' Qali at the end of the bike ride. FIMBank inaugurates its Hellenic branch in Athens FIMBank, the Malta-based trade finance specialist, has of- ficially inaugurated its offices in Athens, from where it will serv- ice the Greek market, providing a comprehensive range of trade finance and banking solutions, targeting corporate clients, par- ticularly traders, importers and exporters. In his address, Grech highlighted the fact that FIMBank's presence in the Greek market was a re- f lection of the effectiveness and versatility of the Bank's robust business model and FIMBank's confidence in the resilience of Greek business and the compe- tence of its entrepreneurs. He said that FIMBank had managed to remain focused on highly specialised trade-related business, and the kind of com- plex commodity transactions that require a more personalised service and bespoke approach. Commenting on FIMBank's strategic plan for Greece, Eck- ermann explained that the de- velopment was prompted by the potential to provide alternative financing solutions within the Greek market, in order to bridge current limitations being faced by local businesses. Pepsi entertains with world's leading football freestylers PEPSI recently brought to Malta two of the world's leading football freestylers. Andrew Henderson, the reigning World Football Free- style Champion and three times Female World Football Freestyle Champion Kitti Szasz surprised and entertained crowds with their breathtaking skills at vari- ous beaches and other locations around Malta.
