Carlos Tevez netted his first-ever goal against Inter to give the Bian- coneri a fifth-minute lead, though the plaudits will go to the crea- tor Arturo Vidal, who produced a sublime 'croqueta' to glide past Guy Medel in the build-up to the goal. The Argentine had a great chance to take all three points for Inter eight minutes from the end, but the 21-year-old was unable to get a proper connection at the far post to Podolski 's cross from the left. Referee Luca Bandi showed his first yellow card of the match mid- way through the second half, then produced six more and a red card to Inter Matteo Kovacic in a feist y last quarter. Juventus are now one point clear of second-placed Roma at the top of Serie A, while Inter lie in 11th place. Earlier in the day, AC Milan were handed a stark reminder of how much work they still have to do to return to the upper echelons in Serie A after Sassuolo claimed a famous 2-1 victory at San Siro. Filippo Inzaghi 's men harboured aspirations of climbing into the European places on Tuesday and Andrea Poli put them on the right track in the early exchanges with his first goal of the season. Ambitious visitors Sassuolo were in no mood to roll over, however, and two assists from Domenico Berardi helped Gianluca Sansone and then, after the break, Simone Zaza to turn the game around.
