FILM SCREENING JANUARY 21 Kinemastik Film Club Art-cinema collective Kinemastik Film Club resumes its weekly screenings at The British Legion, Melita Street, Valletta at 20:00. Next Wednesday's film will be Platform by Jia Zhang-ke. It will be the first in a series of three Chinese films chosen by Hu Wei, and which will be screened at the Film Club during the month of January. PUBLIC TALK JANUARY 21 Interpreting the Symbols on the St John's Co-Cathedral tombstones Flimkien Ghal Ambjent Ahjar talk by Dane Munro at Corinthia Palace Hotel, Attard at 18:30. Using digital photo enhancing, Munro, an authority on St John's marbles, and author of the definitive book Memento Mori, will reveal all regarding the complex symbolic iconography on the marble tombstones and monuments of St John's Co- Cathedral.
