FEBRUARY 4 Vienna in Valletta Classical music concert at the Manoel Theatre, Valletta at 20:00. Musicians from the world famous Vienna Philharmonic join forces with members of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra. Programme features: Mozart: Quartet for in D major for flute and strings K 285, Haydn: Quartet in C Major Op 76 no. 3 'Emperor' and Beethoven: Septet for strings and winds op 20. Tickets are at €20. Bookings: bookings@ teatrumanoel.com.mt, 2124 6389. FEBRUARY 6-8 Live music marathon in aid of Hospice Live music marathon at Razzet L-Ahmar, Mosta in aid of Hospice Malta. Featuring 43 acts over three nights. The marathon will run from 18:00 to 02:00 on February 6; 10:00 to 03:35 on February 7 and 10:00 to 01:35 on February 8. FEBRUARY 7 Friar Alessandro – Concerto di Musica Sacra Internationally renowned tenor Friar Alessandro will be performing at St Publius Church, Floriana at 20:00. He will be accompanied by The Vilhena Concert Band together with Harpist Anne Marie Camilleri Podesta under the direction of Mro. Heathcliffe Balzan and Supported by Soprano Ruth Sammut Casingena and Tenor Arthur Micallef. The concert will be in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund. Entrance is against a €10 donation. FEBRUARY 7 Disco Carnival Party Party at Avalon Club, Birzebbugia from 22:00. Featuring DJ Rayfonz spinning hits from the 80s, 90s and WHAT'S ON TODAY The Everlink Live audio-visual concert at the Eden Cinemas, St Julian's, Cinema 16. In collaboration with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, the show will be incorporating a 40-piece orchestra, live signers and cinematography. Featuring music composed by Reuben Pace, the MPO will be led by Marcelline Agius. The script by Malcolm Galea will be narrated by Alan Paris, with visuals by Vince Briffa and the team from the Department of Visual Arts. Tickets for 'The Everlink' are just €10 for adults and €5 for children under 15. Otherwise, pay just €20 when purchasing a Family Ticket (valid for two adults and two children or one adult and three children). Gozo Archaeology and Nature Walking Tour Heritage Malta's Senior Curator John J Borg and Curator George Azzopardi will be leading a walking tour of some of Gozo's less known archaeological sites.
