Ka8 Qa6# (Qbb8#, Qeb8#) SYNCHRONISED SWIMMING Positive achievements for Malta Synchronised swimming MALTESE Synchro swimmers par- ticipated in the Austrian Youth Com- petition in Vienna. This competition hosted more than 250 competitors from 13 different countries including Russia which is the world's strongest country in this sport. The Maltese syn- chro girls gave excellent performances and also managed to get a podium fin- ish, winning bronze in the team com- bination. The Malta head coach, Saho Harada said 'The girls have been training very hard and it paid off. Each time I go abroad as the National coach of Malta, they make me proud. The Maltese girls' potential and possibilities are unlimit- ed.' The swimmers, all under the age of 12 years, were Kristina Camenzuli, Hay- ley Camilleri, Neeve Cauchi, Ana Culic, Maya Galea, Emily Loucaides, Vanessa Mairangas, Victoria Pace, Hanna Rizzo and Charlotte Spencer. Vanessa Mairangas also participated in the Solo competition and placed 7th in routine against 22 more experi- enced girls. A very encouraging result!
