The midfielder had also been in advanced negotiations with Inter's fierce rivals AC Milan, but the Nerazzurri made a de- cisive surge forward after talks that went through the night and resumed this morning. Reportedly, Kondogbia and his entourage were seen at the Stade Louis II in Monte Carlo, where they signed the five-year con- tract. Italian media reported that Kondogbia signed an agreement with the club while Inter direc- tors Piero Ausilio and Marco Fassone were finalising the de- tails with Monaco. It's reported that the salary will be €4 million per season, but with performance-related bonuses can get close to €5 mil- lion. Neymar suspended for rest of Copa America BRAZIL striker Neymar will miss the remainder of the Copa Ameri- ca tournament after CONMEBOL increased his suspension to four matches. However, Brazil coach Carlos Dunga said Brazil will appeal the four-match ban, On confirming the appeal, Brazil manager Dunga said: 'We don't want anyone to do us fa- vours with the Neymar suspension. We only ask for the decision to be as fair as possible. 'Neymar is always fouled. Okay he made a mistake, but if everyone is punished this way, we'd all be sit- ting at home right now." The 23-year-old Barcelona for- ward was shown a red card for clashing with Colombia players fol- lowing Brazil's 1-0 defeat in their most recent group game. The Brazil skipper was initially banned for one game, ruling him out of the final group match with Venezuela on Sunday. But the South American Football Confederation has now reviewed the case and increased the punish- ment. Neymar was shown the red card after kicking a ball at Colombia's Pablo Armero in frustration after the final whistle before appearing to head butt another player who confronted him. Brazilian media reports suggested he had also con- fronted the referee before returning to the dressing room. Colombia's Carlos Bacca, who was also sent off for a retaliatory shove, has been given a two-game ban. Both players have the right to ap- peal. Neymar had already been shown a yellow card earlier in the Colom- bia game that would have kept him from playing against Venezuela. In the 2014 World Cup Neymar was forced out of the tournament with a broken bone in his spine af- ter he was kneed in the back by Co- lombia's Juan Zuniga in a challenge that went unpunished.
