AUGUST 3 Joseph Calleja and Anastacia 'Maltese tenor' Joseph Calleja will perform alongside interna- tionally famous singer Anastacia will perform at the Luxol Grounds, Pembroke at 20:30. They will be accompanied by the Malta Phil- harmonic Orchestra. Anasta- cia Lyn Newkirk is an American singer, songwriter and producer. She started her career in 1983 as a dancer for hire and made regu- lar appearances in the late 1980s on MTV's Club MTV. In 1990, she started her musical career as a backing vocalist. Her debut album, Not That Kind, released in 2000 was an international commercial success, most notably in Europe as well as Australia, where the lead single 'I'm Outta Love' became the biggest selling song of the year. The singer was awarded as 'World's Best-Selling New Female Pop Art- ist' in 2001. Her commercial suc- cess continued with 2001's Freak of Nature, which reached No. 1 in eight countries and included the international chart topper 'Paid My Dues'. Tickets are at €80, €140 and €200.
