These solutions are especially designed to facilitate health and care professionals' work, whilst enhancing visibili- ty, efficiency, accountability and accuracy. emCare's two leading B2B so- lutions, SCOPe and PocketPal, are the result of the identifica- tion and rectification of ineffi- cient procedures in health and care sectors around the world via state-of-the-art technolo- gies. SCOPe is an e-monitoring solution that enables the carer, nurse, doctor or individual to conduct routine medical tests and instantly capture the data electronically via vital sign monitoring devices. This data is then transmitted to SCOPe's central repository to update the resident's electronic medical record. Staff can also keep their man- agement updated in real time and they would automatically be informed about the duties that need to be carried out dur- ing their shift, without the need to write anything down. Among other aspects, the solution can be applied to a variety of sec- tors and may also be customised to meet different requirements more effectively. emCare's other B2B solution, PocketPal was designed in part- nership with Lloyds Pharmacy to assist domiciliary care provid- ers. The solution provides care workers who need to travel and visit different homes, with their schedule for the day, as well as the clients' profiles, contact de- tails and GPS directions. The care providers are able to check off tasks from their to-do list, take notes as well as report any incidents. This electronic data and other instant updates are sent from the care worker to the head office and vice versa, thus enabling administrators to update the care workers' ap- pointments list from the office and reschedule tasks in real- time.
