Football Results & Fixtures Mosta shock Floriana with late goals MOSTA started their BOV Pre- mier League campaign on a posi- tive note with a 2-1 victory over Floriana. The latter seemed to be heading for a victory, but in the final min- utes Mosta came back from behind to take all three points home. Floriana took the lead just five minutes after play started, when off a corner kick by Nicolas Chie- sa, Steve Bonnici managed to beat goalkeeper Omar Borg with his header. Floriana looked heading for victory when Mosta scored the equaliser on the 82nd minute – substitute James Brincat's perfect shot from outside the area left no chance for Floriana's goalkeeper Matthew Calleja Cremona. Reinvigorated Mosta continued to press and on the 87th minute they turned the tables, taking the lead. Goalkeeper Calleja Creoma rushed out of the area to try to get to the ball, but Saviour Fidelis beat him to the ball and easily hit the ball into an empty net. In stoppage time, Floriana missed a great chance to score the equaliser when goalkeeper Omar Borg missed an attempt to punch away Juninho's cross but Mario Fontanella headed wide in front of a open goal. But gritty Balzan had other ideas, going on to score a stoppage-time goal to share the points with the de- fending champions. Hibernians managed to take the lead on the 57th minute. That's when Andrew Cohen served Gil- mar da Silva Ribeiro with a pass from midfield, and Ribeiro passed to Jorge Pereira da Silva. Pereira then made his way past Samir Arab to make no mistake and beat goal- keeper Valerio Senatore with his shot. When Hiberians were looking to take all points for the encounter, Balzan managed to score the equal- iser in added time. Off a freekick by Terence Agius, Alexsanar Vujacic managed to beat goalkeeper Jurgen Borg to make the final score 1-1.
